President's Day Weekend

...or "Great American's Weekend," as they call it up north where Steven lives.

This weekend, we went to Kentucky for Jenny's bridal
shower! The whole weekend was so much fun, and I am so thankful that we are planning our weddings back to back so that we can bounce ideas off one another. It also makes me really look forward to my family shower on Easter Saturday in a few weeks! :-)

On our way home, we swung really wide to see how the plot was coming along. I was a little unsure because of all the cold and snow we've had this past week. Looks like we're supposed to get a few days of it again this week. Uck. But we did see that they have started the outside of our foundation, and lots of pipes and plumbing were in the process of being laid.















This is going to be the front shot of our house. Notice how there is NOTHING behind us for a very long way! It was very muddy, or else there would be a pic of/from the back. :-)
