Angela's Wedding!

Another one bites the dust... Just kidding! :-) Angela and Brandon finally tied the knot on 10-10-09; one more year, and it would have been very symmetric. Ah well...

We took two days off work and flew out to North Carolina for the amazing celebration. The whole four days was such an amazing time...family, friends, the wedding, the celebrating! Besides the cockroaches, everything couldn't have been much more perfect!

We got in Thursday morning and spent most of the day catching up with family, walking the beach, setting our watches to turtle time; you know...the usual...

Friday morning, Angela, Jenny, and I went to get manicures and pedicures at the spa on the island. This was only the second time I have had this done (the first being MY wedding), and it was so nice. Very nice girl time and pampering. Friday evening was the rehearsal dinner hosted by Brandon's parents at a house on the island. I definitely had my fill there!

You can literally SEE the humidity that was in the air at the rehearsal dinner!

Maid of honor - Bride - Bridesmaid

Saturday was perfect. There was a chance of rain, but it's always a beautiful day on Bald Head!

Can you see the hairspray in the air??? We needed an oxygen mask by the end of it! :-)

Ready to go!

No disrespect to myself or any other brides I've ever seen, but Angela looked absolutely exquisite; more beautiful than a model, and the most beautiful bride I have EVER seen! Love her!

The reception was outside by the pool at one of the clubs. Delicious dinner, good music, fun dancing... the only problem is that it was over FAR too soon! It felt like the party had just started when they played the final song: "Conga" by Gloria Estefan. Best part was the grande finale when the bride and groom led the conga line into the pool! NO JOKE! Of course...Ang looked just as beautiful coming out of the water as she did going in. Amazing!
