Quick visit

Mema and Pepa paid us a nice little visit tonight. They are on a trip to Anderson for a cousin's reunion, and they swung by our place on the way up there. It was a really nice visit, and we went to eat at the Claddagh Irish Pub. Mema brought some really nice "gifts" for us: She brought three bears that were made out of some of Mom's old clothing. Dad and Christopher's were made out of a scarf that she really liked. And mine is made out of her old nightgown that she wore EVERY night and even wore all day sometimes when she couldn't get out of bed. Looking at it makes me think of the time every night that I would climb in bed with her and talk about my day and her day and she would teach me "life lessons." I couldn't have imagined a better gift, and I knew exactly what they were when Mema pulled them out of the bag. This is so wonderful, and it is just another thing to make me feel like Mom is here with me. I absolutely love it.
