Labor Day

Last weekend was a wonderful family weekend! On Friday, we went to a football game at Steven's old school (where he taught and attended). I'm not too big on the whole "friday night lights" thing, but it was actually a very entertaining game, with Steven's alma mater winning in over time.

After a random thought from Steven's dad, we ended up at a golf course most of the day Saturday! This was my first time on a golf course, and I absolutely loved it! Mind you...I don't golf, but I was a top notch driver! It was one of those really hot days, but so beautiful and peaceful. I really loved just sitting in the shade of the cart, listening to the quietness, and looking for abandoned golf balls. Top it off with pizza and movie that evening, and it was a wonderful day. :-)

After church on Sunday, Daniel and Kristin (and little Ella) came over for lunch. It was only a few weeks since we last saw our little niecey, but she has gotten so big and developed SUCH a personality! I'm not going to say she likes Steven or I better, but she screams and/or cries whenever she sees one of us...You can guess which one it is...

We took some much needed relaxation time on Monday. Very good weekend overall!
