Yes...I AM alive!

Things have been quite busy here with my life getting turned upside down and flipping around, then rotated one more time and finally shaken....just for good measure. I will take the next few posts to fill in...

About a week after my previous post, I was out of town for about a week visiting Matt and Jenny in D.C.; then Jenny and I bussed up to New York City to meet Angela for her bachelorette party.

I had SOO much fun in D.C. walking around and going to the art museums and American History museums; I wish I had WEEKS so that I could take one day per museum! As you'll see from the slideshow below, I started with the National Gallery and could not get enough of it!! (I even braved torrential downpours to make it there!) All of the pictures are in a slideshow because there are so many of them that I can't decide which ones to post! And having to choose between which art photos to post??? That's like forcing me to choose between two moderately priced, dry, red wines! ...Don't make me do it!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

After my fabulous few days of viewing art, relics, and monuments, we were off to New York! All three of us got in very late on Friday, but in the city that never sleeps, how late is eleven o'clock really? We had to make the most of our short weekend...

Saturday, we walked around town and were on a mission to get tickets to a good Broadway show. Along the way, we ran into the Naked Cowboy. (He was running for mayor, but dropped out a few days ago to pursue what he does best...play guitar half naked in Times Square.)

Waiting in the TKTS line.

We went to see "9 to 5" which was A-MA-ZING...so funny, so entertaining, so upbeat, so perfect! I hope you saw it while it was out since we came to find out a couple days later that the show won't be continuing. Final curtain call...

We met up with our cousin (second, once removed) Maria, who showed us an amazing time in NYC! She totally made our Saturday night. Unfortunately, the pictures had already stopped by the time we met up with her, as does this blog. Use your imagination.
