We just finished our first week back to school after break, and boy, was it exhausting!!! I think it probably had something to do with New Year's Eve being so close to Monday. ;-)
Luckily, my counterpart and I got an exorbitant amount of planning done on our Friday work day before break. This made the back-to-school-spring-semester transition MUCH easier!
It was great seeing the kiddos again, call me crazy! However, this was the first break since I started teaching where I didn't miss them a little bit over the two weeks of separation. I think that's a good thing...
Now with spring semester ahead of us, we're just crossing our fingers for no snow days! (And by "we" I mean Steven because his rural school is the one that always gets canceled!) Snow days=extra days in May=staying in Indy Memorial Day=no trip to NC to build a deck with Brandon and Matt, and play with Ang, Jenny, and baby!
Really excited about a lot coming up this spring!
