The weathermen were so very correct during the fall, when they forecasted a rough winter. Some days I feel like winter's never going to end! Today was the first day since fall (it seems like) that I've seen grass, or what's left of it! Keith had us over to his place a couple weeks ago and gave the best toast ever! "Here's to surviving winter storm 2011!" he toasted, followed by the best meal of standing rib roast I have ever eaten in my LIFE!!! (Seriously one of the best cuts of meat I've ever eaten, including at restaurants!) It's weekends like those that help me get through winter!
Huge ice storms are in the forecast for tonight. We'll see if we make it out alive! :-) Steven made a grocery run tonight, and made an astute observation upon coming home...why do people stock up on eggs if the power's going to go out?? Are they going to eat them raw??
