Days off

So the storms did, in fact, roar through! It has come in waves, with the first ice storm hitting Tuesday, then even more on Wednesday. Currently it is Superbowl Sunday, and we haven't been to work since last Monday (four days canceled).

This was Wednesday, after two days of freezing rain and sleet. It looks pretty, but is solid ice; there was zero snow at this point.



















Also on Wednesday...look at it glisten!












Thursday, our third day off, didn't bring much change at all except that we saw some sunlight! I believe this was the day I went out and skated around on the ice. :-) Nothing melted by Friday.












We didn't even know it was supposed to snow on Saturday, and this is what we woke up to: almost five inches of show on our few inches of ice!












At least road crews are well-equipped to deal with snow. Thank goodness no more ice!
