What a great weekend! Dad and I had a play day on Saturday, the first in a very long time! We went to a matinee showing of the Broadway Across America tour of 9 to 5 (what a way to make a livin'...). I had already seen the show with original cast in New York, when we went for Angela's bachelorette, but dad had not seen it yet. The leads' voices were PHENOMENAL!!! It was so great, especially after the rather disappointing understudy rendition of Wicked we saw before Christmas.
After the show, we went to a great little restaurant nearby: Meridian on Meridian. It was a nice, open restaurant with candles all around and candle-lit chandeliers. We sat right by the fireplace, which only added to the warm ambiance. The food and service were great, but the company was the best!
