Time flies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, has it already been over a month since I wrote last?? I thought I was so on top of things this year! ;-)

Here I sit with three weeks left in the school year, almost unbelieving that we are so close already. I'm starting to see a pattern, though, because this seems to be an annual feeling. God has really watched over us this year, allowing both of our jobs to be safe for another school year. We both found out a couple months ago that there were going to be some serious RIFs at both schools. Steven found out shortly after that that he was safe due to retirement, and I found out two days ago Friday that I was safe because two teachers below me got RIFed. It's really sad because one of the RIFed teachers is truly amazing and a real asset to any school. Guess that's just the way the game works...

My principal was kind enough to call me at home on Friday since I was out sick for a few days with bronchitis. I'm going on my sixth day of being laid out by the bronchitis (and what I'm pretty sure is an accompanying sinus infection), but I'll be darned if I don't make it to work tomorrow!!

Relay for Life is next weekend, and Steven's going to be in a dunk tank. Can't miss that!!!!!!!! I'll be sure to bring my camera...
