Last weekend, I was treated to another great baby shower hosted in Fulton by my two wonderful sister-in-laws, Jennifer and Kristin. Steven and I went up for the day, as it was also our nephew's birthday weekend.
The shower was held in the basement of my in-laws' church, and thank goodness one of the hosts (Kristin) has been pregnant twice herself, so she kept the a/c turned WAY up for me. Even then, the excitement of the shower left me sweaty and breathless a few times! HA! I'm such a hot mess sometimes...literally.
Kristin is an amazing cook and an even better baker, so between her and Jennifer, the food spread was amazing and adorable, the kind of goodies you hate to eat!
(Notice the onesies cupcakes on the second tier. So clever!)
One of the cookies was saved especially for daddy-to-be.
My heart about melted when I walked in to the room and saw the clothesline decorations with adorable outfits that Kristin and Jennifer got for little Lillian. I knew I could count on Jennifer to have at least a couple outfits that referenced how much Lily already loves her auntie. :-) I think those types of outfits are too stinkin' cute!
The shower had a really nice turn-out, with my sister-in laws (who I somehow forgot to get a picture with!!), my mother-in law, Kristin's mom, ...
Steven's adorable grandmothers and aunts, ...
And the wonderful women of Fulton Baptist!
Everyone was far too generous with their showering of love and well wishes on Lily! There were some incredibly cute displays and gifts in the bunch.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: These showers mean the world to Steven and I, especially as I've been on this incredible journey without my mother physically at my side. Seeing all the people who care about us (and Lily) and think about us and pray for us really warms my heart. This was such a special day!

Glad you are having such a wonderful time and being so very well supported. Love, Aunt Mary
