I've been loving my time off with my little angel, and perhaps a little too much...so much so that after a great deal of discussion and prayer with the hubs, we have decided that I am going to take off all of spring semester, too!! There were a LOT of factors that went into this, but we are very happy with our final decision.
Since I am not going back to work until August, that opens me up to being able to return to physical therapy. I had to return to physical therapy the first time because of the awful car accident in March, and within a couple months, I was simply too pregnant to continue. The office put me on a permanent hold to see how I was doing after Lily came, and unfortunately, the pain gradually and severely returned after delivery and there is simply too much for me to be able to fix without the assistance of a physical therapist. :-/ Because of the new hours in my district this year (approx 7:45 - 4:30), if I went back to work, I would have had to take a half or whole day off at least once a week to attend appointments. Among many other great things, deciding to take spring off allows me the opportunity to take care of myself the way I need to.
When Lily turned two months old, I came down with a terrible case of mastitis. This and other things delayed the taking, file sharing, and organizing of her two month/Halloween pictures. So before I post her three-month pictures, here are her two-month/Halloween pictures. Love them!!
Baby girl is three months old now, and she continues to crack her daddy and I up nightly. She is constantly making hysterical faces and sounds and is letting that personality really start to come through. Her bashful smile is like a drug to me; I just can't get enough! I am so excited to stay home with her in the spring and really get to watch every little change!
She has started becoming very mobile, although we really have only witnessed the end product... Sometime during her ten hours of sleeping at night, she works her cute little self to the corner of her crib...so far, in fact that her legs are propped UP in the corner or on the edge when we get her up in the morning. So funny!
I can't decide which of these three-month pictures is my favorite, so enjoy both!!
