Travel days...

It’s a very good thing that we allowed for some travel days in our schedule because getting from Barcelona to ANYWHERE is not an easy feat. Here is what our schedule looked like the last two days…
















Saturday:
Barcelona - Montpelier
8:45 - 13:22

Montpelier - Nice
15:30 - 20:30

Due to a full train, we had to take a later train out of Montpelier, which put us in to Nice much later. The not - so - nice thing about the nice, late train was that we didn’t get to see any of the niceness of Nice. Yes, we made/heard the nice/Nice joke plenty of times!

Sunday:
Nice - Monaco
9:23 - 9:45

Monaco - Ventimiglia
10:11 - 10:36

Ventimiglia - Milan
10:58 - 14:55

Milan - Rome
16:00 - 18:59

The first legs after Nice provided for a very beautiful ride along the Southern coast of France, and I would have taken pictures except that it was a full train and I didn’t want to appear TOO touristy! So six train legs and 34 hours later, we’re in Rome!
